Divine Signatures

I finished reading the book "Divine Signatures" by Gerald Lund last week. It was the book choice  for our book club this month(which I didn't attend). I am glad that I read it!  As a Relief Society Presidency we have been focusing on "Change of Heart" moments in our sisters lives, those moments that are defining moments in ones testimony of a gospel principle or knowledge of the reality of our Savior.  Lund's book is filled with stories of just such moments, scripturally and personally.  There are so many times that we see 'the hand of the Lord' moving in our lives. Those times are what Lund describes as events that are so singular in their obvious divine providence that it is as if God signed His name to them!  There are such occurences that we see more clearly in retrospect but these are the ones that clearly are indicative of God's love, power,knowledge of us individually and sometimes His intervention in what we are doing.

Book Review

I just finished reading "The Inner Circle" by Brad Meltzer!  I suppose you would call it Historical Fiction or Dystopian...like 'Alas Babylon', written about the future stemming from current events. I found it a well written, engaging,thought provoking...'couldn't put it down' type.  It is worrisome and refreshing all in one.
